Happy Vet's & Armistice Day

To all of our armed forces veterans out there, a simple thanks is in order.  But, in reality, a BIG THANKS is also in order for doing a job that few choose to do and even fewer are brave enough to do.  On this veterans day, please pat yourselves on the back, raise a glass, and do your best to protect your brothers and sisters in arms and come home safe.  From myself I salute you guys and gals for a job well done and a continued success in your missions.

Also, let us salute those brave souls still with us and now departed on this veterans day for their success in World War I.  Protecting freedom, no matter what the history books may say was the ultimate goal of your efforts on this Armistice Day, and you succeeded.  May you be safe in your life or eternal rest, and may the community members of this country remember your sacrifices.

Johnnie, get your gun,
Get your gun, get your gun,
Take it on the run,
On the run, on the run.
Hear them calling, you and me,
Every son of liberty.
Hurry right away,
No delay, go today,
Make your daddy glad
To have had such a lad.
Tell your sweetheart not to pine,
To be proud her boy's in line.
Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there -
That the Yanks are coming,
The Yanks are coming,
The drums rum-tumming
Ev'rywhere.
So prepare, say a pray'r,
Send the word, send the word to beware.
We'll be over, we're coming over,
And we won't come back till it's over
Over there.

Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there -
That the Yanks are coming,
The Yanks are coming,
The drums rum-tumming
Ev'rywhere.
So prepare, say a pray'r,
Send the word, send the word to beware.
We'll be over, we're coming over,
And we won't come back till it's over
Over there.

Johnnie, get your gun,
Get your gun, get your gun,
Johnnie show the Hun
Who's a son of a gun.
Hoist the flag and let her fly,
Yankee Doodle do or die.
Pack your little kit,
Show your grit, do your bit.
Yankee to the ranks,
From the towns and the tanks.
Make your mother proud of you,
And the old Red, White and Blue.

Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there -
That the Yanks are coming,
The Yanks are coming,
The drums rum-tumming
Ev'rywhere.
So prepare, say a pray'r,
Send the word, send the word to beware.
We'll be over, we're coming over,
And we won't come back till it's over
Over there.
