Hot Damn, THIS GUY for MD's US Senate Seat!

This guy doesn't sound like a politician.  He even comes from an agency that frowns upon anyone looking to make the leap to politics quickly after retirement. 

That is exactly what Daniel Bongion is planning upon doing, and hopefully taking and smacking the snot out of sitting Senator Cardin.  Anyone has to be better than someone who votes with his party 99% of the time (no lie). 

I have to wonder though, how a former Secrete Service member would do in the political arena, knowing a lot of the players and having to been "absently minded" ignorant of the discussions that occurred in front of them.  I guess that is why the agency dislikes people leaving and heading straight into politics, as they don't want the "ugly" to be used against their opponents. 

Like the Col. Cooper has stated...

If you're in a fair fight, your tactics suck. 

Hopefully Mr. Gongion will consider using better tactics against Mr. Cardin.  The state of Maryland certainly deserves better.  

Please Dear God, Find Us a REAL Candidate for 2012!

Instead of this kind of candidate!  Really Huckster?  I mean, I have no problem with you being the next nominee and all, provided you stop preaching your holly bible crap!  (Okay, that is an absolutely, totally loaded statement).

Look, I'm as spiritual as the next person, but the whole my rights stop at your door step has got to start applying to the Federal Government and politicians in general.  I mean, Hollyweird is just that; F'in weird!  Don't want them to have more attention than they already garner?  Then don't talk about them which will certainly draw attention to them!  Besides, it doesn't help when it's on a topic that average Americans (your's truly) just don't GIVE A SHIT ABOUT!  (sorry for being ranty). 

I swear, politicians are just as bad as teachers!  They try to instruct upon which they do not know.  (No offense to the good teachers who actually don't just play in the system and do their jobs).  I honestly think that the born again's are attempt to preach in the public's eye and judge others really don't get the whole individual freedom or Thou Shall Not Judge mantra. 

Besides Huckster, keep your nose out of Queen Amidala's business! 

PA State Rep Busted for Pot Possession

Ahh yes, the war on drugs is alive and well.  Also, no one ever mentioned that Pittsburgh Steelers fans were ever THAT intelligent.  Double stupid bonus when you are a public official (read elected rep) and caught tailgating while high! 

That is exactly what happened to State Representative Paul Costa who was cited for prohibited acts while passing a joint around amongst fellow fans.  Seems like if you are going to spark a doobie up while you are an elected rep, perhaps the privacy of your own home would be the best place to do your "prohibited acts."  At least this politician was honest when caught, which I can admire.
